Manitowoc County Parks offer a diversity of recreational opportunities and access to open space, water, and historical, cultural, and natural resources, including 15 lake/river access points. Experience highly developed municipal parks, to state and national forests and reserves, ranging from the secluded shores of Lake Michigan to rugged Kettle moraine, swamps, karst, and caves. Safely run, walk, bicycle, and snowmobile the multi-purpose recreational trail. The lake and river accesses provide the general public with opportunities for fishing, boating, bird watching and photography.

Point Beach State Forest Camper

Point Beach State Forest features 3,000 acres of land and 6 miles of sandy beach along the shores of Lake Michigan. Point Beach offers family campsites, two large group cabins and an outdoor group camp. A popular feature within the property is the Rawley Point Lighthouse, which has been operated and maintained by the U.S. Coast Guard since 1853.
